I've had a wonderful childcare experience for over 10 years and 7 months. My childcare adventure began back in 2001 when my sister, Jennifer who currently lives in Massachusettes asked me to quit my temp job in Boston to be able to help her give full-time care for her newborn son then, Benjamin who is now 16 years of age. I agreed to help during that time, and it's been an adventure since then. After 9 months of helping her out with Benjamin, I decided to find a full-time nanny job in Connecticut. My experience with childcare have ranged from newborn babies to 6 years of age including newborn twins and young children with special needs. The most memorable experience I've had was caring for twin girls, Lauren and Lindsey. I cared for them in 2004 when they were born and stayed with them till they were 6 years of age in 2010. They were premie babies weighing only 3 1/2 lbs but were both strong and healthy. I cared for them full-time and they made me busy for sure. I read to them, played with them, took them for a stroll outside from the very beginning. I helped supervised their transition to solid foods. I also helped get them ready for pre-k. It was wonderful to watch them grow from infancy to toddler years to school age kids. It was fun helping them with soccer practice, running, driving them to lacrosse and watching them learn Taekwando, a form of martial arts! I remember the snow boarding days, that was a lot of fun with the other kids in the neighborhood as well. To this day I stay in touch with the girls, and their parents. They've been such a big part of my life, there were many happy memories I will always remember. I recently visited the family, and found out that the girls are now doing black belt in martial arts. It was a wonderful reunion with the family after a few years of not being able to visit with them.

I have had extensive babysitting expierence, as well as over-night child care. I am the oldest of four children in my family. I have grown up around children, as I have a large extended family, and am very comfortable with kids. I have previous nanny expierence with a family (refrence provided). I spent five months with their three adorable daughters and absolutely loved it. I also worked in for a family in Westchester for 1.5 years and had a wonderful time with their 3 year old daughter. Most recently I worked for a family with 2 sons for 1+ year as well as a family with one infant daughter for 1+ year.

I graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2009 with a Masters Degree and a certification in Elementary Education. After graduating from college I was hired as a Paraprofessional in North Branford and Madison Public Schools. I've worked with children (regular ed and special ed) from preschool to age 12. I also have been a summer nanny for a 6 year old boy and babysit frequently for a girl with Down Syndrome. I am CPR and First Aid certified. My past childcare experience make me a highly qualified candidate for a full-time nanny position! I enjoy working with children, especially one-on-one!

My passion for raising children in a safe, healthy, and happy home comes first! I majored in early-childhood education when I was in college and have found that it's a collective effort. Everyone who comes in contact with children has an important role to play and I have had lots of experience being a role-model for kids. I've coached tennis ages 3-13, taught Sunday School, and have babysat for many, many years and have stayed with the same family (live-out) for about 4 years now. I look forward to being a full-time nanny :)

My experience with the last family was very good! I had a great time with the children; I used to play with them all kind of games, also go to take a walk or play outside to hockey, soccer, ride a bicycle, etc. I am very active and i really enjoyed a lot being with the family!
