I am currently 25 years old and have 2 boys. A 5 year old and a 1 year old. I was a stay at home mom for both boys. I started babysitting at the age of 8 for younger siblings and took a babysitting course and certificate when I was 11 or 12 years old. From 11 to 18 I babysat for a total of 6 different families. I have cared for anywhere from 2 children to 7 children at once.

Ever since I was a little girl, my dream job was to be a mommy. When people asked what I was going to be when I grew up, "mommy" was my answer. I didn't know there were other things to be! And being young and right out of high school, "mommy" wasn't really where I wanted to be just yet! So, I decided to start a career in Child Care. I was employed by Kindercare Learning Center right out of high school and taught preschool and toddler aged children. I worked at Kindercare for 2 years until I was offered a nanny job I couldn't refuse. I was recently employed with the same family for the last 5 years. I was hired back in 2004 when their first little boy was 4 months old. They also had a little girl in 2006 that I was with since birth. They were/are an amazing family. The kids and I adore each other and I love them still like they are my own. Although, upon finding out that my husband and I were going to have a baby in December of 2008, I needed to cut back my hours and the family just couldn't accommodate what I was looking for. We ended up finding a GREAT nanny who wanted full time only, and I gave up my job to be a stay-at-home mom. So, here we are! My daughter is 7 months old and the most happy, loving, easy-going baby. I'm absolutely loving my job at home, but I would love to get back into the "working" world!

I began babysitting at age fourteen. I've taken care of family member's children, along with the children of friends. Starting at age fifteen I've steadily taken care of my niece. Having started sitting her from infancy she is currently 10 years old. I have always done this particular childcare on a full time basis. I am more than capable of providing care for mutiple children. I have cared for up to five children of different age's at one time on numerous occassions. I'm well equipped in meal preparation. Unfortunately outside of family and friends I have not done much childcare, but I do have many years experience with children. I also took Child Development and Child Care classes in High School.

in the past i have cared for alot of the neighborhood kids. I am the oldest of four and would care for my siblings friends. One of the families had two little boys, and another family had both a daughter and a son. To watch either of the families, you have to know how the kids are and what type of things they like to do so you can interact with them, and by doing that they listen and are more receptive to the things you are saying. For the past year and a half i have done alot more of caring for my nephew, he is currently 16 months old. His mother works full time and goes to school, so I help her out when I can.
