I cared for a family with 4 children ranging in age from newborn to age 8. The mother had life threatening complications after giving birth to her fourth child. The father worked in another state which was about a 10 hour drive each way. The family was brought to stay at the fathers parents working farm, however the grandparents traveled extensively for work therefore while they were away I was in total control of taking care of everything needing to be done for the home as well as taking care of the children, mother, and preparing extra food for the midday meal to feed the farm hands as well. I took full care of the 4 children and the mother as she recuperated. Often times I would have to wait until after the 11 p.m. feeding and make sure everyone was sleeping before being able to run to the grocery store to purchase our weekly groceries, come home put it away in time to feed a hungry baby again. Some evenings the mother would want the baby with her so I would come down and prepare a bottle and give the baby and bottle to the mother so she could feed the baby. I cared for all 4 children throughout the day, prepared and cooked all meals, cleaned, did laundry and ironed, took children to play outside and to swim as well as watching movies and on outings. once the mother was better and ready to move back home I stayed on to help with her 10 year old niece at the farm for the remainder of the summer where her mother also worked for the family in a set up home office. I taught the 10 year old girl to swim and we practiced and had fun every day, I took her on many outings during that time. I have also done live in Housekeeping and Cook with a family in Farmington CT.I raised three fantastic children who are now 30,27,& 25 and they all live on their own now, so I am now doing mostly live in work. I babysat regularly since the age of 12 and also had full time summer babysitting jobs for three summers until I was 16 and able to get a full time job. I raised three wonderful children to become very well educated, well mannered, and wonderful successful adults who all have lived on their own for some time now.

I like to think of myself as a combination of Super Nanny & Mary Poppins (minus the magic). 😉 There isn't much I haven't done including caring for newborn triplets and their 2 yr old sister. I also have experience with special needs (food allergies, asthma & autism). My current family will be sending their youngest to school in Fall 2018 so sadly it's time to find a new family to love and care for. I love to go on outings (like the library, park, etc.) Playing on the floor with your baby or doing crafts with your toddler is always fun, too! Kids are what I know & LOVE! I live in Unionville with my husband and have an excellent resume & references.

Hi! My name is Marisa Anopolsky and I am currently a junior in college. I attend the University of New Haven and I am looking for a nanny job this summer and to hopefully continue into the school year as needed. I have previously volunteered in a collaborative preschool which gave me the opportunity to work with children of special needs. Also, being one of the older members in my family, I have plenty of experience watching infants as well. I love playing outside and doing fun art activities inside on a rainy day. I do not mind taking kids to activities or doing some light housework. I am very friendly and reliable and I look forward to hearing back!
