I became a certified babysitter with The Red Cross when I was young. I babysat for many different families. When I was 16 I became a live out nanny for a wonderful family. I stayed with them for 3 years. After moving out of my home state I worked with several other families- babysitting often several times a week. At this same time I worked at a daycare. For a while I worked as a preschool teacher and served as a live in nanny for one of my students. I currently live in Boston, MA and have been working at a preschool as a lead teacher for the last three years. I will be moving back to CT in September, and ideally would like to work as a nanny.

I was born and grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, and I still live in this wonderful town. Childcare is my career and I truly love it. I enjoyed watching my daughter grow up and graduate from college. As a single mom, it wasn't easy, but I am a hard worker and love what I do. After my daughter went to public school, I took day jobs as a private caregiver, a worker at a local private daycare center, and as a special needs respite caregiver for a service in Greenwich. I love working with all age ranges, and feel comfortable with newborns, toddlers, girls and boys up to about 12.

I had have many experiences with children. Children are just lovely and sweet. They love to play. They are always active and that is what I expirenced. I took care of many children. From the ones that are months old to a nine year old. I have acquired experience and I know how to deal and communicate with them. In five years of experience, I learned that children required attention and love. They want someone that can play with them and that is the person I am today. I learned that children can be difficult and give you a hard time sometimes but in the end, they just want someone who will give them attention and will play with them.
