Babysitting since I was 13,working in daycares with all ages,Nannied for 2 families and a mothers helper. I have worked in families with twins. I also come from a very large family of over 50+ cousins, many of which I have cared for growing up. I also have twin nephews that are one and an eight month old nephew and other nephews that are on grade school. I currently babysit in my free time for two families with children ages 1 to 4 years old. I worked as a nanny for two twin boys from infancy to a year. I would dress them, feed them, change them and give them baths. We would play outside on a blanket with toys,go on walks, have snuggle time and I would sometimes rock them to sleep. We also read books, had one one playtime with plenty of talking and interaction. I would make them homemade toys to play with. I made sure all bottles were made for the day and did extra house work that I did not have to do. I have worked in daycares since high school with newborns to school age. I had to go on a class trip and had my own group of children to moniter thoughout the day. I have learned how to teach developmentally appropriate activities on a variety of topics in different ways. On a daily basis we did circletime:sang songs, counted, learned flash cards of words and pictures, colors, calendar, weather, read books and asked questions. We did art projects, had outside play and did many other activites related to a theme or just something that would be enjoyable. I have given my children a lot of positive reinforcement and prasie. I have assured them that if they try, they will suceed. I have taught them manners, how to use nice hands, listening ears and inside voices. I have been there to listen to their problems or a story they wanted to share. I have given them comfort when they were hurt or are missing their parents or just becasue we both want someone to hold. I have dealt with sick children, administered first aide and have met their daily needs. I have provided them with love and care and fun things to do. I have also supervised swimming since I grew up with a pool. I have done light housekeeping and prepared meals for the children as well as caring for the pets. I have been babysitting since I was thirteen with newborns to eleven years old. I am nineth in the line of sixty-four first cousins and have always taken on the role of watching the little ones during many family functions.

I have been caring for children since I was 14, working consistantly in childcare. I love the opportunity to teach children fun activities and stimulate their minds. I am very responsiple, and care for them like they were my own. I enjoy taking children to libraries, parks, and creative events. I have cared for children overnight and while parents were out of town for several days. All of my babysitting experiences have been wonderful with no problems. I have had multiple childcare jobs throughout my years and all the parents love me and will be great references.

I've been babysitting for the over 9 years, and have experience with children from newborn to age 12. My first nanny experience was with a premature infant who required extra love an attention. Soon after, I began nannying for a 18 month old with a little brother on the way. Once the new baby joined the family, I helped out caring for both children. My most recent experience was caring for a little boy from 4 months through 19 months old. With all the families I've worked with in the past, I've worked to form a relationship with the parents, as well as a close bond with the children. It's important for me to understand the goals the parents have for their children, as well as the parenting methods they use in order to remain consistent with the children. I love working with and caring for children, and watching them grow and learn. I constantly look for new ways to teach the children through play to keep the children active and happy.

My first experience was with a family in South Jersey where I used to take care of 2 children (of 5 and 7 years old). I was responsible for watch them after school, some evenings during the week and some weekends as well. My kids were very active and I was also driving them to their sports practicing. (a workload of approximately 35 hours per week). After that, I was an Au Pair in a family in Delaware where I watched a 2 years-old little girl. My job was basically to feed her, bathe her, play with her, do arts and crafts and even teach her some words in Portuguese. In short, spend the whole day with her! (It was very fun). Back In Brazil, I also had a year of experience in a Day Care and I worked every morning with children between two to three years old and there I could play, teach, watch the kids grow and develop new skills and, of course, I also learned a lot! It was a very important experience for me.

I have been a nanny for the last 17 years, and with the same family for 15 of those years. I have taken care of infants and make sure teens were making the right decisions for themselves. I have looked after two boys with ADD/ADHD and learned to be patient with them and help them stay on track and organized. I took the children to and from school, doctor appointments and any activities they had where their parents were unable to make it. I cooked meals, played games, did arts and crafts and read with them.
