In my seven year of being a Professional Nanny I have had the opportunity of working with four families. I have the utmost respect for these families privacy since having had the pleasure of working in their homes, lives, and help nurturing their children. Children ranging from 8 weeks to 5 years old have given me many memorable experiences.
These families needs have include privacy for their high end profile, working with physical therapy professionals and the child daily, giving emotional support during difficult times, and to be there for the family that helps them be the best that they can be and need at the time.
Long Term Families:
There are three families that I have had the pleasure of being in their lives from birth to now teenagers. The roles and needs have changed to babysitting at times, going to the children events and games, as well as helping them on their vacations so everyone can relax and enjoy. With one family having a child with autism it has given the family opportunities to do with the other children and provided a much need personal time for the parents. It is like having extended family that you can trust and have the peace of mind that everyone will be taken care of and happy.
Before going to college I took time to have the responsibility for providing a fun, educational atmosphere, and assessing children’s learning abilities. To teach learning skills primarily during the daytime for six children that was two years of age. As well as having the special bonding experience of volunteering in a hospital for the infant age group. I also volunteered with the Florida Department of Children and Family to learn the basics of hearing and speech development.
