I would like to thank you for your interest in my resume and take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have been caring for children professionally for the past 30 years. I owned and operated my own daycare center xx and ran a License Family Home Child Care in my home. I am in a semi-retirement point of my life and I still would like to do what I love best and that is TAKING CARE OF CHILDREN. I have chosen to care for children because I enjoy watching them learn and grow. Child Care continues to be a very rewarding experience for myself. It is wonderful to see how well children respond to a supportive, loving environment. I know that by teaching young children I am making a long-term contribution to the people they will become. I have been licensed by xx to care for children in my home and center. This means that, after investigating my background, visiting my home and center collecting written references regarding my character and abilities, The Department of Child Care Licensing has given me approval to care for children. In addition, I must adhere to their strict guidelines for excellence in child care in which I've strive through the past 30 years. I appreciate you taking the time to visit with me so you can make an informed decision for the employment of your CHILD/CHILDREN

I have live in Tampa Florida for my whole life. I graduated xx High school in 2008. My first yr of college I move to Virginia and attended George Mason Uni. Then Came back here to Tampa My second year of college as Jr at USF. I first went to school for Early Childhood Education but just recently changed my major to Nursing to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. My Mother and both her sister here In tampa were all Pediatric Medical Foster moms and Behavioral Foster moms. Since I was born Ive had many children in the house and a full household. My interest in Children came very early. I was home often taking care of younger children and enjoyed it Played with them and earned the respect of other foster moms including my aunts and many social workers in the area at a very young age. I began babysitting by myself at sixteen multiple children at once and sooner or later children with cerebral palsy and many other disabilities. I gained patience not only through children but also through piano and teaching piano. When I was seventeen I earned the job with the school district as head instructor at what is now called HOST at Brooker elementary, not only was I doing that but working as a nanny for two little boys almost 40 hours a week. Two year later I ended the school district job and the nanny position which is when I moved to Virginia. In virginia I became a full time nanny for A family from Bangladesh. There daughter speaking only bengali I taught english too and along the way learned enough Bengali to survive in Bangladesh :] After 1 year in virginia I moved back to Tampa. Here in Tampa I met and worked for a Military family at Macdil Airforce Base. I watched there 12 year old son from 6-9 and 3-7 everyday. The two boys that I was a nanny to before heard that I was back and had me babysit on weekends for them till recently both jobs ended. So here I am Looking for another Family to help. I like to make a difference in families lives and leave a piece of me with them every time I can. Feel free to browse my profile and contact me with any questions. Thanks Sasha!

I graduated for North Park University back home in Chicago, IL. where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, with a Type 04 teacher certification. While in school I worked part-time with the xx afterschool program for 3 1/2yrs. From there, I began working with the xx as an afterschool group leader for 3 1/2yrs. As I was working on my degree in Education, I wanted to gain experience as a teacher so I became a xx Teacher with the xx for 10yrs and then a xx Director for 1.5yrs before moving to Florida. Since in Florida, I have continued my work with the xx in Tampa and have been an afterschool site director as well as my current role which is the Site Coordinator for a program called xx! which is sponsored by xx. I currently run the program at xx where I tutor students in the lower reading quartile to help improve their reading skills.

I am the oldest Grandchild on both sides of my family. From the time I was 9 years old I have had to joy of babysitting my cousins. Still at the age of 27 I am the first person they call. I even get the priviledge of keeping my younger cousins for days at a time. At the age of 14 I started babysitting outside of the family. I have been a live in Nanny for 2 families (not at the same time) and still continue to babysit for both families when needed. They have become an extention of my famiy and will continue to be in my life. I am hoping to find a new family to work for that has the same values and closeness that I was raised on.

I have worked in day care classes during all 4 years of high school. Mainly with 2-4 year olds. We would teach them things through arts and crafts. We would make a schedule each day to keep them busy and occupied. We would read to them, make them snacks and lunch, we would go outside and play with them, etc. I also have experience with infants from family or family friends. I would watch them on date nights sometimes if they couldn't get a baby sitter I would take care of them while they were at work.
