My college coursework was in Early Elementary Education and I am certified in Florida to teach VPK.  I ran a church nursery for several years.  I was the Teacher in the Infant and Toddler classrooms for about a year.  When I left that facility it was to be the Teacher in the Infant classroom at a Childcare.   I thoroughly enjoyed both positions. I am  the mommy to a beautiful and kind four year old little girl. I have been a full time nanny (about 50 hours a week) to a wonderful family.  I met the family through a nanny placement agency and it was a good match from the start.  When I started caring for the children, the boy was just 4 months old and the girl was 18 months.  I have been blessed to have them in my home and in my care for the past two years.  Their mother is finally at a place financially where she is able to keep them at home herself for a year or two and that is why I am seeking a new family to work for.  I can provide paperwork to show that I am currently certified in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid.  I also have paperwork from the DMV that shows that I have a spotless driving record.  I have been background checked by the state when I worked at both franchise child care centers, and I have been recently background checked by two other nanny placement agencies.   We have no alcohol or tobacco in our home.  We have child safe locks on all cabinets and drawers, etc.  All cleaning products and medications are out of reach or locked away from children.  I respect the level of trust the parents have in me when I have their children in my home.  I do not take it lightly.  I ensure that everyone has fun, learns new things through art/books/ activity and playtime.  I also make sure they are well fed, rested and safe.  If you are interested, please see my profile. I could do pick up and drop off as well as long as gas/mileage were included in pay. I have a really safe and reliable Subaru Forester and several car seats and booster seats.

I grew up within a very large family of 7 sisters and 5 brothers, 5 of them being younger than me. I started babysitting my younger siblings at the age of 12 for a few hours at a time but by the time I was 15, I was babysitting my siblings, along with my nieces and nephews if my older brothers needed a babysitter as well. I started caring for children of my parent's friends whenever they would go out together or had work on the weekends when I wasn't in school. I have never looked at babysitting as a "job" because I love to be around kids and love to help them learn new things and grow into their own person. I'm currently employed at the xx as a xx coach and have worked there for 3 years.

I have over 30 years experience in childcare as I started babysitting when I was 14 years of age. I have cared for and assisted many families in raising their children. At various time I have been both a full time nanny and occasional babysitter while raising my own children while having a professional career in the corporate world. My past child care experience has been very rewarding.

I currently live in Cincinnati, OH, but am very excited to be moving to the Tampa area mid-March! I am a college student studying to become a Speech Language Pathologist. I am in a completely online program, which allows me to have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I love children, especially infants and toddlers, and look forward to working with them in my future career. I have experience with all ages including some experience with children with special needs. I am very sad to leave the family I currently nanny for, but I look forward to the opportunity of getting to know a new family! I would love to tell you more about myself and my experience, as well as answer any questions you may have!

Currently I am a 2nd grade teacher in Pasco County. I graduated from USF in 2011 with my bachelors in Elementary Education. I have been babysitting children for about 13 years or so. I have a great deal of experience working with children from infant to 13+. I also have experience working with families with multiple children. The most amount of children at one time that I have babysat was 6 (a variety of ages.) I love spending time with kids. Arts & crafts, movies, cooking, taking walks and games are some of the things that I have enjoyed while babysitting.

I recently got hired at a preschool but I am starting to think being a full time nanny would be a better choice for me. I have 2 years experience with toddlers and I am currently working with ages 1-4 at Discovery Point, I am also CPR/AED certified.
