I am a seventy year old grandmother who is raising my eight year old grand daughter since she was born Janauary, 2009. I have happily accomplished this job on my own and this is my main job until she is grown. I have legal custody of her and am responsible for taking her to and from all activities including homeschooling her. I also homeschooled my own child therefore help with homework is second nature to me. I have a BS degree in Psychology and a BS degree in History. Before becoming a real life full time 24/7 Nonny (Madeline’s name for me), I was a fine artist whose art is in collections wold wide. I also have done substitute teaching work many years ago in Coffee County, Alabama. That was not my cup of tea. Perhaps because I taught teenagers. Lol. The caveat is I will continue to be Maddie’s Nonny (nanny) and homeschool her until she is grown and enters college. I also will be taking her to her own activities in PCB as soon as we find a job and an apartment. If you choose me to help with caring for your children Iwill lovingly include become their nanny as well. If such a situation is amenable to all parties, your family and my Madeline, it could be a very delightful situation for us all. I am seventy and in good health, however only minor household chores could I do. I do not do major house cleaning for us, like floors and bathrooms. Washing clothes, some kitchen work is about it. I will help all the children learn how to begin taking responsibilities for their own rooms, toys, organizing, etcetera as is age appropriate. Madeline and I would love to meet your family and have you meet us to determine if we can fit together in a cohesive group, rocognizing there will be an adjustment period as we establish parameters. I am alson willing to not live in and only work part time. Madeline will still be with me on the job. She is a very sociable, welcoming, loving, sweet, extremely intelligent, happy, and entertaining child just like your own children are. If I work part time I will do after school activities, homework assistance, no cleaning, but helping dress or change for activities, snacks, driving. I can use your car and gas, or you can provide my gas as I have a Honda van which will have seating and seatbelts for everyone, but you will need to provide booster seats, age appropriate. Madeline now rides in front seat, but sometimes in back seat to watch the movies. Wow. I have rambled a bit. I am excited to consider your family as great friends in raising kids, our greatest resources and responsibility and hope for the future.

I have babysat for many years for different ages. I absolutely love kids! I am from Brentwood, TN and babysit for a lot of families there when I'm home! I have two younger brothers, one being 10 years younger than me, so I'm used to always having kids around the house and hanging out with them! I have also done multiple overnight jobs as well!

I have been working as a dance teacher during the school year, and a camp counselor in the summer for the past 5 years and I love it! I left at the end of the school year last year to travel in Europe and just returned home and am looking to nanny or au pair for a family. I have been babysitting in my free time since I was a young teenager, and one of my first steady jobs was as a nanny for a baby in 2011. We had a great time together, but his family moved after a year. I hope to find a good fit soon!

My name is Lauren but you can call me Ms. Ren! I am 18 years old and have been around kids for as long as I can remember. My mother had a daycare for 14 years so as soon as I turned 16 I was able to help her in her licensed at-home daycare. I helped watch children aged anywhere from 6 months - 10 years old. I also helped some of the older children with homework for school and read to the younger ones. I have an open availability and a reliable vehicle.
