Family of 3, and most recently employed with: I started when the youngest of the kids was two months old, and the bond that I formed with him makes it extremely hard to say goodbye. We were an extremely active family, and I am looking for a position that will allow me to do the same. See, when you nanny, if you play your cards right, you'll never need to pay for a gym membership. Thankfully the kids I take care of love the outdoors and are always ready for action! I will definitely miss them, but am ready to move on. Along with taking care of the kids, and preparing meals, I also make their beds and fold the kids' laundry. I truly don't mind any tasks dealing with the kids, so if you ever need extra help beyond that, as long as it is asked I don't mind, regularly would prefer to spend less time folding and more time playing. Family of 2 : No- Cry solution My previous experience was with a family that followed the "no-cry" solution. It was an extremely difficult position, and while this method is not for everyone, it is well worth it to follow this method. I still care for these kids and from time to time occasionally babysit. I have not lost contact with any of the kids that I have nannied for or even babysat for. They have all been great kids, and I love every single one of them. Family of 3: First Full time Nanny Position: My first family, and where I learned the most and position that required more energy than any other. I cared for three boys, one of which I will probably name my first child after. I started when the youngest was only about three months old, and from his first steps through potty training him, I was there. This family was an extremely active family and the boys were about 3, 7, and nine when they moved to California. I was more of a house manager at this point. The boys, for the most part played with each other and I tidied and did laundry, and cooked for the family. In the summers, I vacationed with their family on the cape, and occasional weekend ski trips I accompanied. My only reason for not moving with them when asked is that my grandma still lives about a block from me and I don't think I will relocate anywhere until she decides to return to our home in Trinidad.

I have been a nanny since 1995. I have been privileged to work with over 40 children as a nanny and/or babysitter. It has been amazing working with them and helping them to learn and grow. I have been able to work with families with one-five children. I have taken care of Twins, Triplets, and Quadruplets. My duties as a nanny have included light housework, laundry, cooking meals, taking children to school, camps, "music, swimming & Language classes", playgroups and sports activities. With the children we have gone on nature-adventure walks, played board games, gone bicycle riding, swimming, playground, playdates, play tea party-with sandwiches, cookies and water, milk or juice to drink, yard games, arts and crafts, music time, reading time and many other fun activities. It is amazing to see a child discover the world around them and i feel it is important for them to try new things so that they may have a chance to discover what they can do in their life. I am one semester away from graduation with a degree in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Special Education

I studied elementary education in college and was a teacher at Gymboree when my daughter was younger. I worked as a summer camp counselor and as an after-school care teacher before my daughter was born in 1989. I love children and relate well to them. My daughter graduated high school with honors and recently completed her Bachelors degree in chemistry at Rollins College. Of all the jobs I have held, being a mother is the one I feel I am the best at, and certainly the one I have loved the most.

I have extensive experience with babysitting and nannying. When I was a kid my mom owned a day care and ran it at our home, I helped out with all of the kids and have been babysitting and nannying ever since. I nannied for my older sister from when my niece was a newborn until she was a little over a year. I also used to tutor for my principals son, he has cerebral palsy and needed a lot of help with motor skills, and 1 on 1 attention. I've also had numerous babysitting jobs for kids aging from newborn to teenage.

In the past, I was a nanny for a year and a half and babysat many kids in my family and also kids of my friends. My style depended on the child and i enjoy working with every child. I also enjoyed doing various activities with the children and no matter the situation, good or bad, i was able to manage it with the child always approving it.
