Hourly rate17.14 / hour

Dear Host Family, My name is Yinglak. You can call me “Bee” which is my nickname. I am 29 years old . I am original from Thailand. I graduated bachelor's degree in Business major Hotel and Tourism Management. While I was studies in the college, I also attended the Training course for caregiver from a Nanny Center .During the course, I was required to learn in 7 parts which are 1. General knowledge on child care 2.Child nutrition 3. Psychology in child care 4. Child development in each age 5. Recreation activities for children 6. First aid like CPR and 7. Culture and language skills. The knowledge that I received from attending this course helped me a lot in understanding more about the nature of the children in each age and also improving my skills in taking care of children. For Childcare Experience, I have been an Aupair for 2 years with excellent preference(upon request). I worked for the same family. They have 3 adorable boys.(6yrs,4yrs,and2yrs)When I first came here, the little boy was 5 month olds. My responsibility were preparing bottles of milk, testing milk, cleaning bottles and food containers, changing diapers, taking kids to toilet, taking a bath for kids, putting children to bed, taking and picking kids from school, potty training, cooking food , cleaning toys, doing laundry for kids, doing activities such as taking them to the library, swimming pool, playground, The Mall....etc ,telling them fairy tale stories, light housekeeping, run errand, some groceries shopping. I enjoyed it very much while I was working there. I learned a lot about children. I learned about their development from when they started to toddle, to walk and to speak. Each step of their development showed the good progress of them as they were growing up. I am an easy-going, kind, generous, friendly, gentle and reasonable person. I love travelling, meeting new people and love learning the new things. I love cooking especially Thai food...^__^ I also love to do simple things like playing games , puzzles and going for walks. I really hope that the information I gave you above would be helpful for your decision to consider me and let me be a part of your lovely and warm family. I am sure that I will be able to take care of your children very well and happily. Thank you very much for your attention to my information.
Oznur E. - Seeking Work in Bethesda

Hourly rate14.28 / hour

The first thing that I would like to say is that I have been very fortunate to have had fantastic families to be part of their lives and welcoming as I was a family member. For me, life has been always a matter of loyalty, family and friendship. My goal is to let others know that life is as wonderful as you allow it to be, and taking care of children brought me nothing but joy, during my stay in America. My past childcare experience is based on Aupair experience. I did not only take good care of children and was responsible for their well being but, have also provided some structure in their afternoons and overseen homework, help them organize and execute their school projects, drive to activities, car pooling and generally play and care for them in a fun but educational manner. I took my job seriously and did my best to give to the entire family. We did fun things together like go to movies, out to dinner, visit friends, go to the museum, take a day trip to the city or down the Rock Creek Park, go camping and more. We lived a very active life and tried to enjoy each and every day. Some days were hectic and being stuck in traffic wasn’t always fun, but having kids around, I think with the right attitude you can make fun out of every situation. I graduated from GMU in International Business and a Minor in Psychology. After graduation, I went back to Germany and started working in The Hague, Netherlands. My goal now is to start Grad school in the United States. I am basically looking for a fun family to be around and provide basic assistance and supervision with children/household about 30 hours/week.

Dear family I am currently taking care of 4 children ages 4,7 and twin girls aged 2. My duties include laundry, loads of driving as the schools are in opposite directions, meal prep and everything else related to the children. My previous family I worked for I took care of three girls ages 3,6 and a baby I cared for them till the newborn was 2 and enjoyed working for these families. My first family I worked for as a aupair had pre-mature twin boys one of them was special needs and I coped very well despite that. caring for children is a natural talent and a passion I would love to open my own play group one day.I am currently studying child care and obtained my associates in this field. I love to keep children engaged with workbooks, arts and crafts, story time and of course loads of games. I love being outdoors and exploring new places with the children. The greatest reward of being a child care provider is seeing a child grow and develop to be the best he/ she can be and knowing I played a role in his/her life. Best wishes
Tania M. - Seeking Work in Bethesda

Hourly rate22.85 / hour

Hello, my name is Tania. I am very experienced nanny/babysitter who has worked with four beautiful children (all in one family!) on and off for a couple of years now. In addition to that, I worked with few other families which after I have decided to proceed my full focus on becoming a nanny. I enjoy playing with kids, from babies to big, and I would love to keep your children busy and teach them new things. We can play games, cook together, dance, play hide and seek -- I like to have fun when I babysit! In addition to babysitting for other families, I come from a large family myself and I also have my own children. I'm familiar with the challenges with toddlers, pre-teens and adolescents. I think even your young teen would find me a responsible, no-nonsense, but friendly babysitter. I am from Ukraine and I speak 3 languages: Russian, Ukrainian and English.
