I've officially made my living as a nanny for the past 8 years, but I helped raise my little sister who is five years younger than myself which would give me a total of 31 years experience! I babysat for many wonderful families from the time I was 10, with family sizes up to 4 plus their friends on occasion, and all age ranges. I babysat for most of these families until I went away to college. While in High School I taught at the preschool for one term, and also volunteered at Vacation Bible Schools and at a Daycamp in the summers. I also worked as a teaching assistant/gymnastics spotter at the dance studio in which I took many classes myself. In college I took many education/ child-development courses as I was originally planning to be a teacher. I have done tutoring and mentoring for school aged children and teens. I was an assistant director for the theatrical company ShowBiz Kidz for 17 years, working with kids ages 4-18. I spent three years working in the children's department of a book store where I was allowed to design my own weekly story time, complete with related crafts and activities. This quickly became my favorite part of the job and led me to seek out a job where I could play with and read to children full time. For this reason I went into daycare and spent two years at a wonderful daycare/early learning center where I had amazing experiences with all ages up to kindergarten, but specialized in infant and toddler care and education.I have been very blessed in finding wonderful families to nanny for the past 8 years and can't wait to find the next!

I've always loved kids! My experience started around 10 years old when I worked in a church nursery. I've been babysitting regularly ever since! I worked as a summertime nanny for two years for a family of boys I had worked with on weekends for three years prior. I have since worked full-time for two-years with a delightful sister set, and part-time for four years for two separate three-child families. I have a brother and sister who are more than ten years younger than me and I love investing in their interests and watching them develop into unique individuals who I have the chance to impact! I also have experience developing and executing lesson plans for children in different subjects ages Toddler-Middle School, especially with creative writing and art, and have spent time in the classroom working with groups and one-on-one. I also have experience doing structured"school time" every day to keep kids learning throughout the summer.

Hey everyone! In the past I have provided childcare for triplets (4 months old)to children who turned 13. I went to a trade school during my Junior and Senior year of high school where I was in an Early Childhood Development class. There we held a preschool and learned hands on experiences with the children. I also do light housework and can cook for the children. I am open to new experiences myself and have never been fired from a job. If you need to know more, please contact me, thanks

I have been babysitting and helping family members with childcare since I was around ten years old. I love children and I began babysitting part-time as a job because I love having fun and embracing my inner child while providing the proper care that is needed.

Growing up smack dab in the middle of a large family, I always found myself babysitting for the younger children in the family. Little did I know that this experience would land me several childcare jobs throughout my college years. I attended Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, MI. During my years at Kendall, I worked in several childcare positions. From working the nursery at a local church on Sundays, to babysitting my bosses children, and even working at a daycare facility, I was always drawn to positions that involved working with children. My position at the daycare was not only rewarding but also taught me a lot about teaching along with multitasking. I also nannied for a family of two boys, ages 2 and 7. This was by far my favorite childcare position. I worked with the two year old to get a jump start on what he would be learning in preschool. I helped the seven year old with his school work and kept both boys involved in outdoor activities.
In the time since graduation, I have been successful in starting my own graphic design business. While business is going well, I am looking for a position to help supplement my current income. I have a flexible schedule and am looking for either part time or full time.
I love animals, arts & crafts, playing games, being active outdoors, cooking, and music. I am available for light housekeeping and laundry.
