I have worked with children since I was around fifteen/sixteen. I am now twenty two. Granted I have held other positions in that time as well. My first job was working at a camp ground in my area. I worked primarily in the childrens area of the camp with my duties including, craft times, dressing up, hayrides ,singing, doing games, movie nights, dance nights ect. In high school I worked (volunteered) in a daycare facility with the toddler age doing things like exploring with them on the play ground, snack time, and just hanging out with them.... basically getting more experience doing the thing I love! As the years went by I countiued working with children through baby sitting for family, friends. Working in my churches kids ministry, with all diffrent ages. I dressed up as princes Tiana (from princes and the frog) and did parades, a birthday party, and meet and greet for the kids!!! I also have worked in a diffrent daycare facility then the one previously mentioned. with this one my duties were similar including but not limted to....making food, cleaning up, taking the kids outside, diaper changes, bottle making, cirlcle time...and then my favorite time of the day.... just hanging out and having fun with the kids!!! I also currently am going on my second year working at my church as a youth leader to the middle school girls. I have my first aid,CPR and blood born pathogens certifacation. Because there is always ways to learn and grow in this field I Hope to soon begin classes to get my CDA.

I have 13 years experience teaching students in kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. I also worked in a daycare before starting my teaching career. As a teenager I babysat for a couple of families. Being a former teacher for 13 years, I know how to plan engaging activities such as crafts, projects, exploration, dramatic play, music, games, dance- indoors and outdoors. Living in beautiful Michigan provides so many opportunities for learning, no need for the tv- we will be active and making the most of day! I 'm very exciting to make the shift from teaching to babysitter/nanny. I can 't wait to use my training as a teacher and mom to make the day full of exciting adventures. I have a 2-year-old daughter who loves to play with other children. She would be a wonderful playmate. She is very comfortable with me working with other children because every Sunday I worked at the nursery and toddler room at our church. She is a very loving and compassionate little girl. I am a Christian mom and believe in raising my daughter in Christian beliefs and values. I hope I can be of a help to your family. Thank you for your time!

I've babysat for multiple great families including my own. My niece is 2, i've been watching her since she was born. I spent roughly a year babysitting for a family with a hilarious 3 year old whenever necessary.

Hi! My name is Hanna!

I am a mother myself, and have about 10 years of experience caring for children. The experience is a combination of occasional date night clients as well as full time and part time clients. I am currently working for 2 different families with 3 children each as a part time nanny.

I have experience with caring for 4+ children at a time, newborn - teenage care, and twins! I am more than happy to help with household chores, errands, pick ups and drop offs, meal preparation, and whatever else you may need. I have no issue caring for sick children!

I am not CPR certified, but I do know how to perform infant and child CPR. I have my own safe and reliable transportation, and have a perfect driving record!

I am honest, reliable, trustworthy, patient, and kind. I am very good at handling stressful and chaotic situations. I pride myself in caring for my "other kiddos" the same way I care for mine.

If I sound like a good fit for you, let's chat!

What are some common responsibilities for nannies in Grand Haven, MI?

As a parent, it’s natural for you to ask your nanny for a little extra help around the house. However, the boundaries for a nannies duties vary from person to person. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met. This includes things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active, that they have a healthy diet and a sanitary home. When tasks go beyond child care, for example scrubbing kitchen counters, folding laundry, gathering groceries, or teaching a language, you will likely need to provide additional compensation.

To start, it’s important you set expectations and are aligned on compensation from day one. This includes outlining vacation days, a protocol for sick days, and everything else you would want your own employer to cover. From here, spend time getting to know them. Take your nanny out one of Grand Haven’s great restaurants, learn about their childhood, and discuss your parenting philosophy. Finally, be sure to resolve conflicts as they arise. Open communication is crucial to ensuring a healthy long-term relationship.
