I'm a down to earth 20 year old just figuring out what to do in my life. As of now I have lived over in New Zealand for two years working several jobs and going to Makeup Artistry School. While I was over there two of my 'big' jobs were nannying for two families. I had made so many connections in the city that they had told me over and over again, this was a way to help my creativity and learn with the kids as I do this 'job'. I have experience with a 3 year old girl who has epilepsy. She would need to take medicine at certain times and because of this you had to be more patient and aware of what was going on around you. If she were to just stare at you that means she's having a seizure and sometimes you really did not know. Just that situation alone taught me a lot about the work of nannying that yes you are their to help teach the children and help with things around them. But the beauty of children and their intelligence to any subject blows my mind. They do not conform to what's 'right or wrong' they just tell you what it is they're feeling. We tend to loose some of those traits growing up. That's why being a nanny is a way for me to learn from the children and help guide the next generation.
