My name is October, I have been a nanny for over five years now. I am currently moving to Fayetteville NC from Columbus Ohio. I have just had my first child "a baby boy" I am a very proud parent. :) My last nanny position was with two lovely accountants with two very wonderful and beautiful children that I am very sad to leave. A little boy who is three turning four in March and a little girl who just turned two in November. I am very close with the family would defiantly give you there number for reference. We are both very sad about the departure. The position I had before them were for two Dr an OBGYN and a Pathologist. The had three wonderful children that a watch after, a little girl who was 3 a little boy who was 2 and another little girl who was three months old. I worked with them until they sadly relocated to Texas. My typical duties included light house work "laundry" "dishes" light pick up. Taking the kids to and from school, and activities "Sports" "Dance" Fun things like the library and the park. I love doing things in home like cooking fun meals with the kids that they can help with, Arts and crafts. I will give references to you when asked. I am still very close with both family's. Also I would like to add that I am looking for a position, that I can bring my child along, I would have no problem multitasking and would love and treat your children like my own. I will be moved to Fayetteville by January 28th and could start anytime after that. I am currently working for my last family on the side until the move, I have been bringing my child to work with me, with no problems.

One of my first jobs at the age of 14 was at a summer camp ages 5-12. I volunteered there for two years until I was able to be hired for the summer camp counselor position. I worked there for two consecutive years for the summer camp and the spring break camp. I was a nanny for three children ages three, four, and six. I also babysit for family members at different age groups.. My most recent employment I was a Teacher's aid for the past year. Also I travel with two kids one day a week ages six and eight to and from different extracurricular activities. Also I was watching a infant from 2 months to 8 months. My most recent employment is in a health and fitness facility doing child care for ages 5-12 for parents working out for a few hours at a time and also I am currently doing full time cleaning services for the same company. I've been employed here since October of 2011.

I have worked for xx working with children with Behavioral disabilities as well as with xx and similar companies as a Qualified Professional. I have owned my own daycare and provided care in Germany and Japan. I am certified through the Dept. Of State as an Academic Coordinator. I have always had a love and joy for caring for children. In high school I had many teachers who regularly had me babysit for them. Also while in high school, I tutored students in a program that helps them reach their full potential, to be organized in their studies, and to focus on their academics. After graduating and beginning college I began to work in the school system. I taught in an after school program for K-5th graders. There I would tutor children and assist them in their homework, provide a safe and fun environment, plan lessons weekly, and do many learning activities with them. Also, I helped with the special need students, which I loved. Along with that I have worked with infants and toddlers as a nursery worker in the YMCA. I would handle 6+ children on my own at a time. I believe that children are a blessing from God and deserved to be treated with special care.
