I have my Bachelors degree in English and Elementary Education from Ramapo College, and then went on to get my Masters in Literacy. I was a teacher for 10 years at the elementary level in Bergen County. When I had my daughter 5 1/2 years ago, I decided to leave teaching to be with her. In order to contribute to our finances, I started nannying. I found my perfect fit family almost immediately, and have been with them ever since, even nanny sharing with another family during a year when they only needed part time. During my time with them I cared for their 2 children, who were 1 and 4 when I started, and are now 5 and 9. I took their littlest one, who I was primarily with, to music class, My Gym, and the library for Story Time. At home, we did projects, sensory play, and as she got older, we did early learning activities. She and my daughter became best friends, and we became each other’s family. This is what I am hoping to find again. For me, it is most important to find a family I “click” with. Being a former teacher, as well as working with a family in education the past 5 years, I am looking to keep a similar schedule. I would match best with a family looking for a nanny during the school year. I look forward to chatting with you and getting to know your family!! :)
