My name is Ciara Stanley and I'm 20, I attend Rutgers University in Newark, however, I'm taking some time off to save money for when I do return. My major is Journalism with dreams of becoming a broadcast journalist, hopefully turning that dream into eventually having my own talk show. I'm a people person, and I usually can connect with anyone I meet. I went to private school my whole life starting out at Far Brook School in Short Hills, and from there went to high school at Montclair Kimberley Academy. I live in West Orange at the moment with my boyfriend. I love to act and sing, so I would incorporate that in with learning methods for your children. . I also enjoy writing, and do alot of it in my spare time. I've had experience with children for about 7 years, ranging from babysitting family members to working with children in day cares and camps. I feel as though I would be a good fit for this job, because I feel like I connect and bond with children and can truly understand their needs. I believe in influencing kids in a positive way and being a good role model for them. I'm very caring and loving so would find it comes naturally to give children the time and care that they need. In 2009, I became a certified babysitter by the American Red Cross, and have been taking care of children in my family ever since. I know all of the safety rules and regulations that involves watching a child and can distinguish the differences between wrong and right. As far as present experience, I help babysit my 1-year-old cousin a few times a week, and have babysat my now 7-year-old cousin, providing food, activities, and assisting him with his homework. I've worked as a counselor for Camp Watershed in West Milford, NJ and provided acting activities, workshops, and found fun and educational ways to keep the children interested. I've also worked in a day care in Newark and provided full on attention to children as young as 12 months old. Last summer, I worked as an English tutor, teaching kids from the ages 8-10. I helped them with homework as well as taught them a few acting games, which they all seemed to enjoy. I am also very silly and fun have no problem joking around! In conclusion, I love children and find that we can learn from them just as much as they can learn from us. Hopefully I can be of service to you!

Let me know if you're interested in speaking with me further!
