I am looking for a fulfilling experience; from me to the children and family and vice versa. I love children and I am extremely patient. I am hoping to make a positive impact in a child's life. I am experienced professionaly in two daycare environments as well as being a team leader for music workshops for young kids to teens and doing children face painting. I have also many times been trusted in my personal life with family and friends to look after their young ones. I have also done home dialysis treatment for my guardian starting at the age of 12 until 14. Growing up, it was only my Guardian and I in the household and I devoted a lot of my childhood to taking care of her needs as she had kidney disease. I am a natural care giver. I am an aunt of three young boys who are now 11 and 15 years old that I love dearly and helped raise the 11 year old, but baby sat all three of them. I have a younger sister, 11 and younger brother, 16 that I care for dearly. I have watched after both of them, but at this point I only baby sit my little sister and her friends sometimes. I have even been a role model for many girls in the foster care system that I met during high school ranging from 12 to about 15 years of age. I am warm, fun, yet responsible.

I was a live in nanny for 2 years. It was for 2 girls (1-year-old & 7-year-old). I would wake them in the morning and get them ready for school. Make breakfast and bring them to school. I would go to my school and once they are finished I would pick them up. Make dinner, help with homework and do some crafts. I would also take them to the park, play dates, library, gymnastics and dance class. I love going outdoors so we always did activities outside. It came to an end because the parents were moving out of state and I was unable to go with them. I also did a lot of babysitting for the parents at the daycare I worked. They would give me a call whenever they were going to dinner, work functions or just needed some time to themselves. I would often be booked ahead of time because I worked for several of the parents. The last family I worked for were for 3 children (10, 13, 16) in Maplewood, NJ. I would pick them up from school, do laundry, let the dog out and light housekeeping. I would take them to their lacrosse & soccer practice and wherever they wanted to go. It came to an end because the mother lost her job and was unable to keep me.

I am currently the nanny of an amazing four-year-old boy. My job is to pick him up from school every day, give him lunch, then do different activities. these activities include arts and crafts, playdates, in the summer we go to the park and the pool, and I also include learning activities that will help him perform better at school. Sadly, he will be attending Kinder Garden next fall and I will no longer be needed. I really enjoy being a nanny, I do my job with care, love, passion, respect, and patience. Working with children is what I love.
