Hi, my name is Dani. I'm 17 years old and graduated from Roseburg High School in June 2017. While I have no nanny experience, I have been working with kids for going on 6 years, first in a daycare center, then as a babysitter (once for a girl and 2 boys age 7, 9, and 12 for about a year and a half, and once for a girl and a boy age 12 and 7 for 3 months). I have also volunteered in my church's childrens department and took three childcare courses at RHS. I enjoy doing arts and crafts and can help with homework. I am willing to do light housework and can cook meals, but I do not currently have a license or a car. I am willing to take the children on walks or bike rides.

I love children and had hoped to have grand children., but my son is gay and not very child friendly so I have taken many children under my wing. I love crafting so I have spent a lot of time doing crafts with children starting in 1987 when I would take two days a year off from work to do a ceramic project with the kids in my son's class. I did this for 4 years. I enjoy doing it. I liked teaching them how to work without shouting out of turn, how to keep their items organized, the right way to get my attention, how to stay calm, and how to clean up after themselves. I also liked taking them to some of the lovely state parks where we live. I also love helping them to read better and to understand better why adults expected so much from them and made it ok for them. I always served healthy snacks and meals. I love showing them attention and love. I have had several people give me their children because their lifestyle was very bad. I would teach them and made them feel good about themselves. I expected respect from them and gave it to them. I have no formal experience I just love to take care of children. If they were good they were always treated to something they wanted, except junk food. I also made them mind and be respectful. I helped with homework, cooking, cleaning, driving, and worked with parents to get the child what they needed. Most of the children were from bad home lives and needed extra care. We also played hard as an incentive to be better children. I also cooked for them.
I am available any shift you need from June 29th on because if hired I would be giving my two week notice to my other job. My son turned out to be a very savvy child who is now 35 and half owner of 3 beauty salons. You just have to work with them, and that takes time.
