Over the past 10 years I have been a nanny for a few different wonderful families. I've taken care of anywhere from 2 to 5 kids at the same time. I am also the oldest of five children so I have been taking care of children for as long as I can remember. I also have a Batchelor's Degree in Communication disorders in which I spent a great deal of time observing Speech sessions with kids ranging from ages 2-6. The last family I was a "nanny" for had three children ages 2months, three years and five years old. I was with them for three years and I loved being a nanny, so it would'nt be any surprise to know that after taking care of and loving other peoples' children for over 8 years that I had two of my own. Being a nanny really prepared me for being a Mom, except for the fact that I could'nt leave at 5:30 at night anymore and I did'nt have weekends off anymore either. And the whole waking up every two hours in the middle of the night thing. O-well! The last family had me come back for a summer with my son which worked out great. I have also babysat for other families with both of my children, A.J. age 5 and Ava age2. On one of my temporary babysitting jobs I had my two children,a 4 year old girl and twin 6 year old boys. I love playing outside, singing fun kid songs, baking with the kids, art projects and just watching them play with their amazing little imaginations. The things they come up with!
