I have a little brother who I grew up babysitting and sort of raising. I also cared for various families in my neighborhood throughout my teenage years. Their ages ranged from 2 years up to about 10 years of age. I am very good with kids and love them to death! I am a very loving person. I also nannied for a summer after my senior year of high school in Princeton, NJ for two children, ages 2 1/2 and 3 months.

I started babysitting in the neighborhood when I was 11 years old. I also have 4 older siblings and between the four of them they have 13 kids from ages infant-16 and I have cared for them numerous times. I love new experiences and working with kids!

I love children! Babysitting is my passion and although I have fun while doing this job I take it very seriously. I have 7 years of babysitting experience and I have learned so many valuable things when it comes to caring for kids. One thing I will NEVER do is ignore your child. It drives me crazy when I see babysitters on their phone the whole time or they just watch tv. I interact with the kids. I play games with them, (hide-and-seek, tag, board games) I take them to the park, play soccer outside and come up with activities to do inside if the weather is bad. My #1 goal is to keep them safe, but my #2 goal is almost just as important. It's to help them have fun, to be present there with them and not let other things distract me when I babysit. When I babysit, you're child is my concern, not anything else. That being said, I still follow rules that you have laid out for them and I want them to follow them too. If they have chores that need to be done before you get back, we'll get the chores done. Although I'll try to make it as fun as possible! Another thing I believe in is not trashing the house. I always try to have it clean when parents come home. When you guys get home you're probably wanting to spend time with your kids you haven't seen in hours, not clean up a mess we've made!
The point is I try to be a fun babysitter, but balance it out with following rules and know that there are still responsibilities that need to be done. I will treat your children the way I would want someone to treat my own. Babysitting is a Big Big deal and should not be taken lightly. You are entrusting me with your most prized possession. Your kid. And I will treat them like they are, and I hope you would expect nothing less from me.

I have a pretty open schedule, the one day I'd prefer not to work is Monday evenings, but if I'm really needed I can make it work. Please contact me for any more questions you might have have. Have a good one!

I helped in the daycare at my high school with the babies. Then I was a nanny for about 2 years but unfortunately they had to move.

I’m older and more stable and reliable, I have worked for 21 years as a social worker with school age children of all ages. I worked with teenagers the most so I am very ready to work with younger children. I have no children of my own except for a foster/adopt son who is an adult now. However I have 6neices and nephews that I was considered a live in Nanny when their father was seriously injured in an auto accident and spent 9 months in the hospital and rehab. They have since grown up and now have a total of 23 children collectively with 5 year old twins who are the youngest. It has been a joy to help care for them. But I am more eager to work with infants the most. I hope you find something in this profile that rings true to your heart.

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelors degree in psychology. I have been babysitting since I was 12. During my college career I have worked with children 8 years and up who struggle with behavioral and mental health issues. I love working with kids. I am a new mom to a 5 month old boy and have been married for 2 years. I am looking for a nanny job that I would be able to bring my son with me! We LOVE the outdoors. I will play and read with your kids and spend time outside being active instead of watching TV!

As a parent, it’s natural for you to ask your nanny for a little extra help around the house. However, the boundaries for a nannies duties vary from person to person. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met.
