My name is Stephanie, and one of my greatest passions in life is caring and giving myself for the sake of others. Over the years I have learned and watched my passion to nurture unfold as I've walked through open doors of opportunity open before me, both to care for, serve, love, lead, and nanny the children of people who have been such a large part of my life. I began babysitting when I was just twelve years old. Since then my drive to care for children steadily grew ever so strong. When I walked through High School I was able to, and very drawn to child and early child development courses that were offered to me. It was the one topic that I gave my heart and soul into because it became so fascinating to me. Through it I then pursued my first job as an assistant teacher within a daycare facility back in 2006. I then moved with my family to Idaho and instantly was blessed with another assistant teaching position within the company of New Horizon Academy. A couple months later I was offered the lead teacher position into a classroom of six one year olds entrusted into my care full time for eight hours a day. I was expected to write lesson plans and activities that would feed their growth in sensory, physical, mental, and emotional motor skills. A little over a year later my life took a change and I needed to leave that job as I began an internship through my church. Through the internship I met and began to be mentored by two pastors who soon would adopt three children, and little did I realize I would be entrusted to nanny for them and be desired in such ways of magnitude that humbled me daily. Those moments in my life thrilled me endlessly. It was then that I really experienced the thrill of where my heart was to love and care for the hearts of little ones. All while truly understanding the value of what it looked like to simply come to aid the parents within their responsibilities. I do not by any means believe a nanny is there to parent. But he/she is there to love, and aid as they are requested and entrusted to do so. It is a position of grace, and a gift that is to not be taken lightly. I believe I carry a sense of urgency and awareness while I nanny and care for children. An awareness of the parents needs, and also of the child. I am a woman who lives in a place of respect, humble heart and honor. It is my intention and desire that such lines will never be crossed. Whatever door opens, I am anticipating getting to know such beautiful families.

I am currently a nanny of a wonderful 14 month old baby boy in Bellevue. I have been working with this family full time for just over a year. We have a lot of fun getting out and about to fun activities, parks, and picnics. We work on our large and fine motor skills and learn sign language. We enjoy laughing, singing and having dance parties. There is a lot of fun learning opportunities involved throughout our entire day. Since he is getting older we thought it would be a great idea to start looking for a nanny share. A nanny share is a great way for the children to build their socialization and peer problem solving skills. It is also a great way for the families to be able to afford to have the one on one time or small group setting for their children. We are looking for a family with 1 or 2 children, roughly around the same age. If you have any questions regarding what we are looking for, about myself as a nanny or just more information about a nanny share in general please feel free to contact me.

My love for children is quite apparent to all who know me. The last family I nanny'd for was a set of 9 yr old triplets and a teenager. We kept very busy with homework, driving them to their sports activities (hockey, soccer, volleyball & gymnastics), play dates, cooking & baking together, etc. It was a wonderful experience! Being a mom myself, I have raised my own two daughters, ages 20 and 16. I take pride in the fact that they are respectful, fun and responsible young ladies. I feel that I have experienced all that comes with caring for a young life, loving them, keeping them safe, disciplining, and teaching them the fundamentals of life. At the age of 12, I started babysitting for many families throughout my neighborhood and church. My variety of interests will show you why I would be a wonderful nanny & personal assistant to your family. Some of those include; imagination, cooking, sewing, crafts, and organizing. I also enjoy reading, crafts, playing sports & board games. My career as a professional driver is apparent when viewing my flawless driving record, in addition to my clean background check. Having good communication with a family are extremely important to me.

I started out baby-sitting 10 years ago, when I was 17 years old. I have been a nanny to infants though children age 12, the most experience being with toddlers. Most recently I was with a family for three years, looking after their son from ages two to five. The family moved out of state, so I am ready to find a new little friend. I am a very fun, caring, easy going person but am also very structured and organized. I believe that communication is key to building a trusting, long-term relationship with my future family. When it comes to childcare, my first priority is providing the utmost responsible care, while becoming their best friend. I am a firm believer in following through with my word, and am also someone who stays positive and firm and does not give in to whining or tantrums.
