A little bit about me…

Hi! I'm Daniela or Dani as most of the kids call me. I live in Alta Loma & I'm looking for my next Nannying opportunity starting January 2024. A bit about myself, I'm a very family oriented person & even when I'm not nannying you can still find me surrounded by kids (my nephews and niece). I adore kids & have always taken care of them for family so I figured, why not turn this into my job? People say it's hard to find a job that you thoroughly enjoy each & every day of, but I've been extremely fortunate with the families I've worked for & can wholeheartedly say I love & have one of the most fulfilling jobs. I'm truly so lucky for that. I've been a nanny for kids 8 months-12 years old. I like to think that I'm a kid at heart. I love to craft, bake, encourage imaginative play, sing, read, & of course movie time if allowed. I have a resume, references, clean background check & I'm hoping to find a family willing to use payroll & longterm care. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! :)

A little bit about me…

Hi there, my name is Allyson. I have many years of nanny and life experience. Im was recently nannying an almost 12 month old little boy Monday-Friday full time. Prior to that, I was caretaking an infant boy from 4 months to 9 months and then the family moved out of state. Before that, I watched a little girl from 4 months old until she was 2 1/2 and her mom was able to take over and stay home with her then.
I am married to my high school sweetheart. We just celebrated 30 years of marriage. We have two grown children in their 20’s. I was always babysitting as a youngster and we always had the neighborhood kids at our home. I’ve always felt like a mother hen with all children.
I’m CPR/AED infant certified and love all ages of children. I have also helped to raise my niece and nephew. I have a lot of life experience and a kind nurturing heart for kids. I can provide reference upon request.

A little bit about us…

Hi!! We are looking for someone to help us around the house and take care of our 2 children (6 year old boy / 8 year old girl). We live in Rancho Cucamonga. We are looking for about 20 hours per week, and OK with less. Roughly M-F, 1:30p-5:30p and OK if it’s not every weekday. We need help with general tidying up, dishes, laundry if possible, meal prep for dinner, prepping kids lunch boxes for the next school day, and other misc tasks like returns, post office, pharmacy pick up. Meal prep includes dicing tomatoes, onions, and other veggies for us to cook for dinner. Must be comfortable making snacks for the kids, washing and cutting fruit for them, air frying chicken nuggets, making a quesadilla, etc. The kids need to be picked up from school in claremont. We would provide a vehicle but may ask if you could use your car occasionally if we are both working.

After pickup around 3pm from school in claremont, both kids have Jiu Jitsu here in Rancho cucamonga from 4-5pm. You’d be back home by about 5:20 and then done at 5:30. Some days when I’m home I may ask that you stay home and finish some chores while I take the kids to class so I can watch hen as well. There also may be days that we ask you if you can stay longer due our schedules.

Let us know if this interests you. thanks :)

How to Hire a Nanny in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Nanny Lane is an easy-to-use website that helps families find experienced local nannies in Rancho Cucamonga. Simplify your nanny search and find your perfect nanny today. Our services include background checks, nanny contracts, and nanny payroll.

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.

Rancho Cucamonga Nanny Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a nanny?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
  • Are you open to a live in arrangement in Rancho Cucamonga? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
  • Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Rancho Cucamonga?
  • Do you have a driver’s license in CA? Do you own a car?
  • What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
  • What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.

Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny

Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
