Hello, My name is Robin, I am 22 years old. A little bit about myself,I'm living in Park Ridge. I just got back in town from California. I live in my own home, and I have my own car. I will start out by telling you that I love children, its just amazing being able to watch them grow, and be a part of their everyday lives. They bring out the best in me, i dont see how anyone cant have a smile on their face with a child in the room. I'm very down to earth and energetic. I believe children should keep their inoccence for as long as they possibly can, its such a beautiful thing, and with the world today many are growing up way too fast. I finished school about three years ago, I have some college and im a hair stylist. Don't let the career choice fool you I am very educated and plan on finishing my degree, I've just had to work my entire life to get where i am. I do hair out of my home, and i make my own hours. I will be taking some classes probably on the weekends to finish up my psychology. I'm very good at many things, but I was always told to do what you love. I'm great with children, and care taking the elderly. I volunteer at nursing homes regularly, and ive had experience with caring for cancer patients. I've had child care experience my whole life, as I used to baby-sit, be a Camp counselor, a Life gaurd, and a swim instructor growing up. My family is very large, and I'm one of the oldest so I've always had to care for the children. I've been watching my 6 cousins since they were born, one being a set of twins they are now ages, 8 (twins), 12,15,16,17 I'm great with toddlers and children of all ages. I'm very active, and I think children should be too. I am comfortable and well prepared to carry out activities such as play time (indoors and out), after school activities, sports, with educational as well as fun activities, nap time/quiet time, cooking healthy meals, cleaning, etc. I can make lunches/snacks when needed and help the children with other things. I do NOT raise my voice, or yell, I feel there are much more proactive ways in getting a child to listen or know that something is wrong. Children are so inteligent they are just spounges ready to soak up everything you have to teach them, some activities i like doing with the children: reading books, going to museums, zoos, parks, teaching sports, teaching dance, and art.I have experience with infants and children up to the age of 17 years. I'm also CPR and first aid certified. I know how important it is to find the right person to watch your child, I just love watching how im looking for a Feel free to reach me at my email, or call me Thank you, Robin

I’m a 37 year old Nanny and mother to my 5 year old daughter. I spent over a decade in Corporate America as a successful businesswoman before motherhood. My current Nanny contract with a loving family is coming to an end. I have provided excellent care for two girls ages 3 and 6. My responsibilities include: • Provide a safe, fun, active, creative and engaging environment in my home and in family’s home for children to thrive • Coordinate and plan every day activities that encourage education, social and emotional development • School pick up/drop off and transportation to other scheduled outings • Meal preparation for children such as breakfast, lunch and snacks • Perform light housekeeping • Daily reporting of children’s activities, temperament and meals I have extensive experience in caring for children - starting at a very young age caring for my younger sibling. I held multiple babysitting positions throughout my adolescent and teen years and spent countless hours in my twenties caring for my nieces and nephews. During my own pregnancy I attended various classes related to child care including CPR & Safety: Infant & Child and Newborn Baby Care: The Basics. I am willing to become CPR certified for your peace of mind. I've also read a myriad of parenting books and enjoy educating myself on all things child-development related. I believe in child-centered parenting, discipline through re-direction, allowing and encouraging children to express emotions and providing children with lots and lots of praise! I honor and respect parental preferences, wishes and requests. I am highly organized and enthusiastic. I have all of the necessary "gear" for newborns, infants and toddlers including a pack-n-play, video monitor, a "grow with me" highchair, play-mat, bouncy chair, infant swing, play-yard, various activity centers, etc. should you prefer I care for your child in my home. I prepare healthy meals and snacks and can document your child’s daily eating, napping and "pee & poop" schedule, depending on their age. My daughter is currently in Pre K M-F, 3 hours per day at a school in Bucktown. Her school year ends June 2013. She will be attending Kindergarten in August 2013, full days. I will need to drop her off and pick her up from school each day and she will be in my care (along with your child) during Summer, Winter, Spring breaks and all non-attendance school days. She will be in school the majority of the year which leaves me free to care for another child. I am happy to provide you with multiple references. I began my first baby-sitting job when I was 12 years old and have consistently taken care of children since. While growing up, I regularly took care of numerous families’ children starting from infancy. I thoroughly enjoyed building lasting relationships with each family I was responsible for and watching the kids grow up. I graduated from Western Illinois University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Family Consumer Sciences. I also took numerous courses on psychology including childhood development. I used to work for a college downtown that attracted students who come from rough backgrounds. I was responsible for teaching them professional skills and assisting them in the job finding process. That job built strong skills in me that has helped me be a great nanny. I was faced with challenging situations everyday and help find solutions that will better my students/graduates. It taught me how to listen, teach, problem solve, have compassion, and to be patient. But most importantly, it taught me how important it is to have a positive impact on children in order for them to grow up and make good decisions with their lives. Furthermore, I have spent the last 8 ½ month being a nanny for a family of two kids. I was responsible for getting the kids ready for school in the morning, transporting them to school and events, feeding, reading, playing, teaching, cooking, and helping them with basic hygiene. I believe it is crucial for children to have good guidance and a safe environment to develop in their childhood. This is why I want to be your nanny. I will help give the children the attention they need in a safe and loving atmosphere. I have a solid background, clean record, and have never experimented with drugs. I am someone who can be trusted with their children.

Our son, Cole, is 11.5 months old. He’s a happy baby and loves to interact. We’ve had our nanny since he was 3 months. Our last family moved so we are looking for a new family to join us!

Our nanny, Stacy, is simply exceptional. She has her masters in childhood development and psychology and has over a decade of experience. Her expertise and knowledge has been such a piece of mind and she has taught me so much! She is very passionate about her job, hands on, interactive, and is excellent at keeping the babies on a routine. She communicates with text updates and pictures through out the day, always check-ins, and clears anything in question before proceeding.

We’re looking for a family M-F, ~7:30a-5:30p (can be a little flexible with this). The cost is $8.50 an hour per family. We set up a contract with vacation and sick days, expectations, family responsibilities, etc. that all parties are comfortable with.

Our home is very safe. We live in a gated town home community and have a security camera for our front entrance. There is a spacious grass area with in the complex which is perfect for baby pools, bubbles, and fun outdoor activities. There is also a park with in 100 yards.

We’ve enjoyed being the host house and would love to continue in this role. Can discuss if it's a deal-breaker!

We’re excited to welcome a new family to our childcare dynamic!
