The Riley Family - Hiring in Rutledge
The Riley Family
Rutledge$15/hr  |  2 kids
We are looking for a very special person to retrieve our 2 boys from school in Loganville every afternoon and bring them home to Rutledge(possibly moving closer soon, like Covington). Stephen is 7, in second grade, very bright, and very busy. He has ADHD and is on meds, which help a lot! Patrick is 15, in 8th grade, very quiet, and has autism. He is doing well in school with a parapro. He is communicative and very sweet. They both will need homework help. Patrick gets a lot of one-on-one at school, so not too much homework for him. They both participate in a choral group, which practices on Thursday. They want to start back going to church on Wednesday night. Homework and these extracurricular activities are priority. If there is time, folding laundry and loading/unloading the dishwasher would be helpful. Supervising the boys putting up their own clothes and cleaning their rooms. Cooking is an option, if you like it. Otherwise, we can make other arrangements. Not a big deal. Supervising showers and getting them to bed some nights. Hours would be 3:30-9pm. I work long sometimes unpredictable hours. Some nights, I may arrive home early, and you can choose to stay and get your hours by cleaning up or keeping one of the boys occupied while I spend time with the other. Or you may choose to leave early! We limit screen time, especially during the week. They do not have phones. They are allowed to play games on the computer on occasion. For the most part, we want them to play and learn without screens! We also have a 16 year old daughter. She is an elite swimmer, and is in a boarding school in Chattanooga. She is home during school breaks and holidays, and summer. You would not be responsible for watching her. We are not a boring family, and if you take this job, you will not be bored either!
