More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes helping my mom with her in-home daycare for over 10 years, where I was involved in everything from feeding and changing to playtime and helping with early learning activities. I also have experience caring for my own 3-year-old, who is autistic, which has taught me a lot about creating structure, using gentle communication, and being patient and attentive to individual needs.
In addition to that, during my time as a nurse aide, I often worked with patients of all ages—including young children—and supported their daily care with compassion and sensitivity. These experiences have helped me build a strong foundation in caregiving and child development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy doing a variety of fun and engaging activities with children, depending on their age and interests. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, sensory play, reading stories together, and outdoor play like going for walks, blowing bubbles, or playing at the park. I also love doing simple learning activities like counting games, color matching, or puzzles to help with early development in a fun way.
With my daughter, who is autistic, I’ve learned how to adapt activities to fit her sensory needs—things like water play, soft music, or calming routines. I really enjoy creating activities that are both fun and supportive of each child’s growth and personality.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting and loving relationship with the child and their family. Kids need to feel safe, supported, and understood in order to grow and thrive. That means being patient, consistent, and really tuning in to their individual needs—whether it’s offering comfort during tough moments, encouraging their independence, or simply being a positive, steady presence in their day.
As a nanny, you’re not just a caregiver—you’re a role model, a helper, and sometimes even part of the child’s extended family. That kind of trust is something I take seriously and treat with care.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children comes from raising my daughter, who is 3 years old and autistic. Being her mom has taught me so much about patience, structure, and understanding different communication styles. I’ve learned how to support her through routines, sensory needs, and emotional regulation in a calm and loving way.
In addition to my personal experience, I also helped my mom run her daycare for over 10 years, where I cared for children with a range of needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a little boy who struggled with separation anxiety at drop-off. For the first few days, he would cry and hold onto his parent, and it broke my heart to see how hard it was for him. I started creating a little “morning routine” just for him—something simple like picking out a book together, doing a short breathing activity, and then choosing a toy to play with. After a week, he started walking in with a smile, excited for his little routine.
Seeing that shift in his comfort and confidence reminded me why I love this work—it’s the small moments of trust and connection that make a big difference in a child’s life.

Babysitter Available in Carmichael, CA: Bryana A.
I was raised in my family's home daycare since I was 6 years old and feel very comfortable with children of all ages. I have been providing my child care services professionally (infants to school age) for the last nine years. I'm fluent in Spanish, CPR/ first aid certified, and have a clean driving record. I love to read, make art, play music, and create stories. I also enjoy being outside and have a deep love for animals. Nannying is enjoyable to me because I get to do all of these things while helping children grow in a safe and positive environment. I'm hoping to find a family in need of an energetic and confident nanny to care for their little ones.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Carmichael, CA: Caitlin F.
Hi! My name is Caitlin, and I’m 19 years old. I have a strong passion for working with children and have gained hands-on experience as a camp counselor at SMUD's Museum of Science and Curiosity and through Christian Brothers High School's Youth Summer Program. I’ve truly loved every minute of these roles; creating fun, safe, and engaging environments where kids can learn and grow.
I’m currently enrolled in a four-year nursing program, where I’m building skills in responsibility, empathy, and communication; qualities that also make me a caring and attentive caregiver. I’m reliable, patient, and always strive to bring positive energy to every interaction. I would love the opportunity to support your family and provide your children with the same warmth and care I’ve given in all my previous roles.
