Fanny O. - Seeking Work in San Francisco

Full-Time Available Nanny Fanny in San Francisco, CA

A little bit about me…Hi, My name is Fanny, I was born and raise in Mexico City and moved to San Francisco almost 9 years ago when life blessed me with a baby of my own and I searched of a better future for us. I started my first job as a nanny in the fall of 2011, helping a family raise three beautiful kids different ages (12, 8 and 5 years old now). When my daughter started preschool I decided to get involved in her education as much as I could and sent her to a cooperative nursery school, Rocky Mountain, where I had the opportunity to work with so many kids between 2.8 and 5 yo. Also I had the luck to have as mentor and teacher Linda Mickelson, one of the best child specialist in San Francisco. She tutor all parents every week during Parent Ed and child development program provided by City College of San Francisco. I’m currently working for two wonderful families that will be attending preschool this coming fall. I’m available to start a new adventure on Late September 2019.

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…Besides nannying for the past 8 years my daughter and I attended a Cooperative nursery school. Working with kids from 2-5. I was enrolled in a Child Development class in City College of San Francisco, taking parent Education every week at the school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…Spending time outside as long as possible, engaging with babies/kids in different activities as they grow, story time at the library, taking the bus/train to different playgrounds around the city, visit to museums and classes, or just walking around the neighborhood and going on hikes if available in the area. After being outside having adventures come home for some quiet/relaxing time, lunch and nap... before heading outside again!! I encourage parents to keep rain gear available because puddle jumping and worm picking are plan of the program during rainy days...
The most important part about being a nanny…Having the opportunity to engage in the development of the babies/children.
My favorite nanny moment…First words, first steps, first potty time... getting to see them grow and become more independent, clever, strong... it’s just wonderful to get to see them turn into precious little people!
