A little bit about me…Hi, my name is Hana Sohaib and I would love to get the chance to nanny for your family! I currently am an education major and have hopes of opening my own daycare, one day! Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…I have worked in a daycare and have been a nanny for 3 years now. I also have volunteered at the Crises Nursery.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…I try my best to be outside as much as I can be with kids (depending on age) but I also enjoy going to the library with them and playing games around the house. I also really enjoy being able to teach them new things and watch them advance. I like to take them out to do as much as allowed!
The most important part about being a nanny…Keeping each child happy, healthy and safe is easily the most important thing about being a nanny to me. Also to make sure that I am doing everything that I am able to help them advance in what ever stage of life that they are currently in.
My experience with special needs children…I have only worked with a handful of special needs children and they were all between the ages of 5 months to three years old. Although I don't have much experience with special needs children, I am always open to learning!
My favorite nanny moment…My favorite nanny moment would have to be the time when the one year old twins that I was watching learned how to say my name, or not say it I should say. Even now when I go and visit them they still refer to me as "Nana" and it is the cutest thing.
