The first formal job I ever had was with an adorable two year old. We were reading a book about animal predators. Each page we turned exhibited an animal being overcome by another so we both yelled OH NO! on each page and laughed like crazy. Why it was funny I don’t know, but I’ll never forget that little belly laugh. When his mom told him it was time for me to leave he started to cry. I was pretty surprised but I have to admit it warmed my heart. I was hooked. My goal is always to make children laugh and it usually involves silliness.
