Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…I have taken Child Development and ECE 1, 2 & 3 and taught in my high school's preschool classroom. I have also volunteered at elementary schools to help children with their classes, and I have occasionally babysat in the past.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…I enjoy doing activities to help children learn such as puzzles, songs, art, etc. We can go on walks, play with their toys, make food together, and many other fun activities.
The most important part about being a nanny…What matters most to me about being a nanny/babysitter is helping the children's development. Every moment is crucial to them. Children are sponges, and they are absorbing everything we do and say, so it's important to think and act positively.
Growing up, I had a single mom that worked a lot to provide for me, therefore I had a lot of babysitters. Many of them were not very positive towards me, did not do fun activities, and mainly watched TV all day. I would like to do everything in my power to ensure that children don't get treated like this again. As your nanny, I will be attentive towards the children, fun, and loving.
My experience with special needs children…I do not have any experience with special needs children but am willing to learn and accommodate for them. I learn quickly and am very open-minded.
My favorite nanny moment…My favorite memory from working in a preschool was on St. Patrick's day while doing an art project and the children told me all the fun stories about what the leprechaun did to their houses.
I also love all the art projects I've done with children. I'm a very artistic and creative person so my favorite activities are art related.
