A little bit about me…I am a friendly and energetic Nanny with 30 years experience in childcare. It is such a joy to get to see the world through kid's eyes every day. They are so full of amazing energy and such a joy to be around. I am very patient, loving, and respectful with the families and children I nanny for. I like to partner with the parents to create a consistent and stable environment for the children. The kids I nanny become like my own children and are treated as if they are. I love teaching kids to love the outdoors and allow them to explore the world around them in many different ways.
I have worked in daycare settings, as a preschool assistant, nannied for many families, homeschooled and raised 3 girls of my own, taught homeschool classes in a co-op, taught Sunday school, and was a youth leader. I have experience with newborns up through the teenage years and have cared for twins. I have helped my nanny families with sleep and discipline issues and am certified in nutrition.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…I worked from December 2016-December 2018 for a nanny agency as a fill-in nanny for
families that need on-call, short-term, on-going part-time, and emergency situations.

Activities I enjoy doing with children…Playing outside, kid friendly hikes, going to parks, nature walks. Playing board games, reading books with them, and cooking.
The most important part about being a nanny…To build a relationship with my nanny kids and the parents so we can all work together and make the very best environment for the kids.
My experience with special needs children…Two of my children have learning disabilities and processing issues and I have cared for kids over the years that have special needs. At this time I am not interested in positions with special needs children.
My favorite nanny moment…My husband and I took my current nanny kids camping for two days. It was such a precious time and the kids still talk about it.
