Lisa ran the in-home daycare that both of my daughters attended from infancy to preschool ages. From our first interview with Lisa, I was impressed with how well organized and thought out the childcare was. It was more than a way to earn some extra money--it was a business she took seriously and was well qualified to run. It was important to me that our childcare be licensed, clean, safe, and felt like a home. Lisa was always warm and welcoming to children and their families, and she took feedback and suggestions well. I think any family would be lucky to have Lisa working with their children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children…I love to do arts and crafts, cooking, singing, music, and all things that children love to do to have fun.
My experience with special needs children…I have over 20+ years. I have worked all kinds of different types. I have worked with children with tracheotomy, Epi Pen. Special diets. Annia C. - Seeking Work in Portland

Live-In Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Annia C.

I’m 25 years old and want to move out to Oregon, I am born from Texas and raised in both Texas and Mexico. I grew up with a younger brother and older sister and ever since I can remember I was taking care and supporting my siblings since my mother was a single mom of three. I’ve always had that drive to take care of those around me and nurture them and I have basically nannied every single one of the kids in my family ! I’ve never been a nanny outside of family but I have worked as a teacher's aid for 2 years (elementary and middle school, with >6 months with special needs students) and worked at a daycare for around a year (after school caregiver 5-12 years old). I would love to add full time nanny to my work experience and since I’m great with kids I think it would be a perfect job for me! I am super flexible with my time and don't mind picking up hours on weekends on occasions. I'm a great cook and dedicated to fit your child's and your needs as best as i can ! pet, lgbt+ friendly.
Lizzy H. - Seeking Work in Portland

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Lizzy H.

My name is Lizzy, I use she/her pronouns. I love nature, hiking, reading, watching women's soccer, and spending time with my spouse. As a queer woman with a nonbinary partner, I am looking to find a family to work for who is open and accepting to all. I currently live in Texas, but we’re moving to Portland in July!
When it comes to taking care of babies (and all kids, really) I’m all about encouraging child led play, using baby signs, and supporting natural physical development to help foster their independence. I love finding new ways to create developmentally appropriate challenges for any kiddo.
I am fully vaccinated/boosted, and maintain a fairly low level of exposure (always masked in public(indoors), curbside whenever possible, no large unmasked gatherings, etc).
1000 characters isn't enough, so please feel free to message me for more info!

Greetings! My name is Kimberly and I am a 23 year old Oregonian currently residing in Portland.
My approach with children in my care is to treat them as growing intellectuals who I am assisting with everyday tasks. They’ll have questions that I have answers for, and I am ready to help them develop skills and routines they hadn’t prior.
I am open to doing housework and/or running errands as needed, be warned that I’m not a chef but I can follow a recipe.
Open to either full or part time, just looking for the right family!
Thanks for reading this far, I look forward to hearing from you. :-)

Hi! I’ve worked with special needs children before, volunteered by making dog treats for the humane society, cleaning the beach, cleaned books for a drive that gives them to kids who can’t afford them, manny more, and I can make meals that look like characters! I was Vice President in school, I am a certified soccer referee, I’ve chaperoned field trips, and I can speak a bit more than basic sign language:) I have a lot of experience with tutoring and have been told I should teach for a living. I have a lot of hobbies and interests, such as art, ukulele, animals, cooking, yoga, photography, comics, and I make blankets for insomniacs:)
