I have always loved working with kids. All through out highschool my job on the weekends was babysitting. My Senior year of highschool I watched twin girls after there a.m. kindergarten class till mom got home a few hours later. (I was homeschooled which made this possible) We'd play dress up and put on plays, we'd do arts and crafts, read lots of books. I'd always make lunch. After I graduated I nannied for a 1 year old little boy 5 days a week, from early morning till afternoon or evening. He loved playing guitar, singing, painting and playing at the park. Sometimes we'd stay at his house for the whole day, and other times we'd run errands, go on little field trips, or go play at my house. Eventually a second and a third came along and I provided care, love, and play for each. I would cook breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. I continued working with this family for almost 3 years, until I became a Care Partner (Nursing Assistant) at Children's hospital of WI, where I stayed for 17 months and just resigned in June. While working at the hospital I continued to babysit and nanny part-time as well. I am a mother's helper who has 3 little girls adopted from China, one of the girls as spina bifida, with whom I babysit, cook, clean and do laundry. And I also teach these 3 little girls piano.
