Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For three years I had the opportunity of working as a daycare teacher for infants to 2-year-olds. Since then I have nannied for multiple families which included ages from infants to 4-year-olds. Many of the families have multiple children and pets or a nanny share that I was recently a part of. I have tutoring experience with school aged children. I have my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm certified in CPR as well as first aid training.

As a former daycare teacher I love to help their development through crafts, singing and reading books. I feel that being out in nature is very important and love to get out and explore as much as possible. I also enjoy taking the kids out to parks, children’s museum, zoos or the beach.

It would probably be creating a safe apace where they can truly be themselves. I want to be a person they can always turn to when they are excited or need comfort. I want to teach kindness and foster an open mind.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments usually have to do with my children learning a new skill I have been working on with them. When the babies first take their steps or a toddler learns a new word. One of the sweetest moments is when they learn how to say my name. It melts my heart to know I am making a positive impact on their development.
