I’m a nanny because I believe childcare is my calling

My past childcare experience Hello, I'd like to start of by saying i am a 44yr old mother of six. You won't find a better person to help take excellent care of your children. At age 19 i gave birth to my first child. Needless to say this was nothing like the many babysitting jobs I've had since 15. It was much more permanent. It was a struggle completing high school with a new born, but with the help and guidance of my mom, i did it. I then enrolled into Long Island University as a psychology major. Unfortunately, loving on my own and taking care of my baby made it difficult to continue my education there. So to make ends meetIi began sitting for my mom while she pursued her career as an NYPD Officer and my aunt who taught pre-school at a daycare center. Since then I've been the go to person for many, including people i took care of when they were younger. There are times when the children I provide care for have grown too old and school age began and it to the work field I went. I have to say, I've never had a job as fulfilling as helping children grow. I now have 5 beautiful daughters and 1 son. The oldest just graduated college and is due to start teaching 3rd grade in September. Another is currently a Jr at Arizona State. My sugar baby, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 7, is currently attending her freshman year at FIT for fashion design. My 4th daughter and only son are in the Jr. and sophomore years in high school. And last but not least my baby who is a freshman in Jr. High school and wants to pursue photography as het career. Although Dad plays a huge role, I'd like to believe, without my encouragement and wisdom this may have turned out differently....That's just what I'D LIKE TO THINK....But the truth is, "It Takes A Village To Raise Our Children." I would love the opportunity to help mold the next set of Leaders. After all, thus is what i was born to do. Hope to meet you soon.
