I’m a nanny because I don't want to be a nanny. I am a nanny. Being a nanny for such young children has taught me to be creative with education. Yes, they may be tiny, but the amount you can teach them at such a young age is astounding! I've always excelled when it came to art, math, science, and athletics. Making math and science fun I always thought would be a challenge, but with how much I love those subjects, it surprisingly wasn't. I AM A NANNY because I can't imagine a better day at "work" than getting to play castles and dragons, let kids frost cupcakes, play in a muddy brook and make a pillow fort.

My past childcare experience I started working with children when I was only 12 years old. My brothers were in cub scouts and some of the boys had itty bitty siblings that had to be brought along. Being the only girl, I was in charge of taking care of the littles. Since then, I've been a babysitter and nanny for typically twins or infants with an older sibling (3-4 years old). I've never had one child in my care, always many. Since moving to Virginia, I have worked as a nanny share for two adorable infant boys, a nanny for boy/girl twins and as a regular date night/occasional sitter.
