I’m a nanny because I was already a nanny, so continuing the career would be ideal for me. Caring for children is not just a job for me. I thoroughly enjoy seeing children grow and learn new things & knowing that I had the privilege of teaching them those things and being apart of that makes me very proud.

My past childcare experience My first experience as a nanny was for almost two years, started as soon as the child was born, until the child was two years old when I was no longer needed. Since then, I've been a nanny for three different families. I've also babysat, for about six years while I was growing up. I was always needed, considering I have a very large family. I have a passion with working with children, it is something I have definitely grown to love a lot! It has a special way of touching your heart, knowing that you have a part in helping that child grown and learn.

Additional comments Children just amaze me, with what they can learn in so little time. I have a three-year old niece, a two-year old nephew, and a 8-month old neiece, and they are my life. I love spending time with them, and teaching them new things. Childcare is just a huge necessity in life, that grows and grows by everyday. Nothing against daycares, because that gives a child room to grow with other children. But I feel that in a daycare, with so many other children you never know if your child is getting the right attention it needs. So, with having a nanny, and one or two children, it's more like one-on-one. Sometimes it's just better! I plan on taking night classes to become NC certified to take care of children, so I will know every single thing there is to know about taking care of a child. I used to be CPR/First Aid certified, but no longer am. If that is something you prefer, it's not problem that I go and take the courses again! I am very trustworthy, reliable, honest, respectful, caring and I take my job caring for children very seriously as if they were my own children because if I was looking for someone to take care of my children, I would want someone to be that serious too.
