I’m a nanny because I have a genuine love for children and hope to one day become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Nannying would be a great job for me while I finish my education to become a nurse.

My past childcare experience I have 3 younger cousins who I babysat for since I was in the 7th grade (13 years old). I have also babysat for family friends 3 children since then. I babysat for a family that found me on sittercity.com a few years ago they had a infant and a school aged child I was with them for over a year. I stopped sitting for them when a job opportunity came up as a nurses aid at our local hospital. The nurses aid experience was beneficial to my education and that's why I took it.

Additional comments As and nursing student and a former nurses aid I feel that the experience and knowledge I have makes me feel more comfortable caring for children incase of an emergency.
