I’m a nanny because I have over 30 years of Child Care experience and I've thoroughly enjoyed meeting or exceeding the parents expectations in quality child care and housekeeping!

My past childcare experience I was raised in a family of 15 (yes, fifteen!) and developed an interest in child care with my family by helping with my 5 younger siblings. I've owned and operated 2 Registered Day Care facilities throughout the years that followed the State's guidelines for proper child care, cleanliness and Early Childhood Development Education. I taught my daughter how to read and write before she entered Pre-K. (My daughter is now 32yo, who has a 7yo child. I also have a son who is 35yo. Both of my children are doing well and are living on their own.) I've earned and continue to maintain a reputation of being a 5-Star, High Profile Nanny. I've extended my child care services to Accountants, Attorneys, Doctors, Nurses, Police Officers, SAHMs and many others. I welcome the opportunity to provide quality child care for your family. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Additional comments Not to be overlooked are those with Special needs. Please, allow me to explain: Since I believe that the largest room in the world is the "Room for Improvement," I've always looked for opportunities to improve in my administering care for others and one of those ways that I hold dear to my heart, which has helped me to "Improve" is in caring for those with Special needs. Those with Special needs have their own unique way of drawing out the best in you that lends itself toward developing an awareness of what they want/need from you in order for them to enjoy a measure of normalcy in their life. During the process, you can add to your repertoire (collection) of experience that will definitely enhance your ability to "Improve" your skills in working with those with Special needs. This, I believe, is the beauty of caring for those with Special needs. Don't take my word for it, read the book or watch the movie, "The Life of Helen Keller," and then you'll get a glimpse of what I mean about the special feeling you develop in caring for those with Special needs. Warning: Only for those with a sensitive heart toward those with Special needs! . . . Carmen
