I’m a nanny because I raised 4 children of my own, 2 of which were born very premature. They are all grown up now and moved away to different states. I have always loved children and love watching them hit their developmental milestones and see how their personalities develop. I no longer have my children and grandchildren around me, so I have turned to being a nanny to fill the void. I find that it encompasses all the skills and crafts that I have developed throughout my life. I was previously a pastry chef and head chef and do a lot of arts and crafts. For many families, I have also prepared meals for the household, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I like to keep a neat home and will do so while being a nanny in any home.
My past childcare experience I have been a nanny for several families over the course of more than 10 years, usually lasting for 2 or more years with each household. I have provided care for homes with large families 4+ children and newborns. I have very much experience with preemies and twins. I can sleep train, potty train, and help develop a routine for infants and children as they develop and grow and change.
Additional comments I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am very dependable and reliable. I am Christian and fluent in 3 languages: Assyrian, Arabic, and English. Over the years of being a professional nanny I have realized that there are two most important features that parents look for when selecting a nanny. Those features being trustworthy and able to follow the parent's wishes on upbringing for their children. I understand this very well, as I am a parent myself. It is very important for the family and the nanny to be a good fit for each other, both ways.
