I’m a nanny because I believe that caring for a child/children is a really rewarding position. At such a pivotal time in a person's life, I believe nannies need to be a positive role model, fully capable, responsible, and loving. I believe this is a role I can fulfill.
My past childcare experience When I was younger, my mother ran a daycare in our home, a catalyst for my interest in child care. By thirteen, I babysat regularly for families around my neighborhood, including a child with an autism spectrum disorder and another with D.I.D. I like to create engaging activities for the children I babysit. I find that these activities are a fun way to expand their minds, generate questions, and explore the world around them.
