Supervises the Development Center, as well as the Main center. Selects employees, hears, and resolves grievances and complaints of staff and parents. Initiates appropriate corrective action for performance and conduct. Prepares and implements schedules, according to the needs of the center and its children. Writes employee performance discussions, annual progress reviews, and annual performance appraisals, based on observation and daily interactions. Maintains personnel and payroll related records for both NAF and APF. Develops, administers and evaluates programs for appropriateness. Skillfully utilizes communication skills, both verbal and written. Interviews and hires prospective employees and ensures that personnel actions are processed. Implements and oversees the USDA food service program, to include menus, purchasing, monthly reimbursement claims and approving eligibility forms for enrollment studies. Maintaining of financial viability for the program and in yearly and long-range budgets. Procures equipment and supplies. Ensures that facilities meet all applicable regulations and policies, to include security, fire, health and safety. Maintains an on-going collaborative relationship with Family Advocacy, Deptstaff, the program and needed documentation for NAEYC accreditation.
