I’m a nanny because The majority of jobs that I have had in the past have involved me working with children. With this, my future career as a speech pathologist will continue this trend. I believe that becoming a nanny would be a great experience to help me in my future as a speech pathologist. I also would enjoy getting to know a family and learning about them. I feel that this can help me and I also have qualities that I could bring to a family to help them as well upon learning about me!
My past childcare experience I have been babysitting for many different families since I was about 15 years old. I have many younger cousins that I was always around growing up and enjoyed watching over at family events since I was young. I was a camp counselor for 2 years where I was in charge of a group of 20-30 7 year old girls during various camp activities along with one other counselor and 2 counselor assistants. I currently am working at a clinic where I assist speech pathologists and watch over children from ages 3 to 18. Some of these children have disabilities. Overall, I have a lot of childcare experience and just love working with children!
