12.00/hr
A little bit about me…Hello! My name is Naomi. My childcare experience started at a young age. I come from a large family of 12 children, started babysitting at 12 years old, completed an Early Childhood Education Program in highschool, was hired at a daycare upon completion of the program as an assistant teacher, currently continuing college classes related to child and family relationships, and have nannied full time for two families now, and have babysat regularly for multiple others.

I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and painting. As a nanny I focus on physical activities, reading, singing, dancing, and age appropriate projects. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your family!

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…Assistant teacher at a daycare, floater at a daycare (worked with all ages), babysitting, volunteer in church Sunday School, completion of the Early Childhood Education program in highschool, and helping care for my 6 younger siblings and now 5 nieces and nephews
Activities I enjoy doing with children…Scavenger hunt, walks, playground, gardening, swimming, or any type of imaginative play outdoors.

Painting, reading, cooking, storytelling, singing and dancing, and play doh
The most important part about being a nanny…The impact that I will have on each child’s life by the love and care that I show them. It’s a big responsibility to be a main participant in helping a child grow up, but it is a very rewarding job.
My experience with special needs children…Seven of my siblings were adopted and most of them have special needs including fetal alcohol syndrome, learning disorders, attachment disorders, autism, and dietary restrictions. I also regularly babysat a boy with autism when I was a teenager. In addition, several of my nieces whom I have cared for have severe food allergies.
My favorite nanny moment…As a live in nanny, every time I leave the house during my off hours to go somewhere, both kids run to kiss me on the cheeks and hug me. They do this every time and it never gets old
