More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…When I was in college I was providing care as a Registered nurse as physical examination, first aid. Teaching things like eating healthy, brushing their teeth, potty training. Multiple kids at the same time, sometimes even 6 kids per day. I was able to recognize some difficulties the children experienced and overcome this with them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…Seattle is amazing for outdoor activities so we could explore parks and playgrounds, picnics, swimming if allowed for the parents. If is raining or cold we could always make arts and crafts (I am very creative). Music and dance and the kids would never be bored. I also love libraries and I think is important read everyday.
The most important part about being a nanny…been able to take care of the most precious treasure. Children always bring joy to my life. I’m always not only teaching and taking care or them but also learning everyday a new thing. Is amazing watching them grow, discovering the world around them. Everything is exciting even if a little thing like a new word or a new food introduced to them. I find important to create a connection with the kids I take care so they can trust me and feel comfortable around me always.
My experience with special needs children…I took care of an Autistic kid for 6 months while I was nurse. Also working in a day care I cared for many children going over a trauma or disability.
