More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…I was a Trauma /ER nurse. I’m CPR certified, and PALS certified( Pediatric Advanced Life Support). . I raised two beautiful girls who are grown and live in L. A. I also worked as a part time nanny in college.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…I enjoy playing tennis, ice-skating, skiing, long walks, going to Disney World, swimming, painting, arts and crafts, reading, all things adventurous, going to the zoo, playing basketball, picnics, decorating for Halloween, picking out costumes, trick or treating, playing traditional holiday games, baking cookies, decorating for the holidays, putting up a tree, lighting the Menorrah( yes, I celebrate everything 😆), sleigh rides, building a snowman, roasting marshmallows, hay rides, horseback or pony rides, planning birthday parties, watching the fireworks for the 4th of July, getting ice cream, and cooking out, planting flowers and vegetables, and watching them grow, picking fresh vegetables from a farm or garden, playing with kittens, puppies, teaching good manners, and how to treat others, instilling confidence, sharing our “ special time” where we talk about our day, and what we liked, and didn’t, and teaching all children to be thankful for everything and everyone in their lives.
The most important part about being a nanny…“Being genuine, trustworthy, and providing a loving and safe environment.” 🥰

My experience with special needs children…Mostly sick children, and spinal cord injuries,
