Full-Time Available Nanny Tami in Dallas, TX

A little bit about me…I am a 47yr old mom of four amazing children!
I started babysitting at 8yrs old for 2 neighbors that had 4 kids each throughout my school years, in H.S., I working at a daycare where I was in charge of 12 kids. When I graduated from H.S. I went to College to pursue nursing. I decided to not continue nursing and moved to Texas to attend Christ for the Nations. I went on missions’ trips to Australia, New Zealand and a medical mission trip to Africa. During this time, I was a nanny for 4 years. My husband and I ran a group home for teenage boys for 12 yrs in Waxahachie, Tx. I have been working in an office for the past 5 years and realized I am way to active to sit at a desk all day and I miss kids!
I love to go on walks, hikes, swimming, cruises, exploring and learning new things just as much as I love to watch movies. I appreciate communication and feedback.
I look forward to meeting you and your family!

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…Worked at a small private school and was the (unofficial)school nurse as well as staff support.
Have worked in the nursery at my church when needed and helped out my friends with their kids when needed as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…I love to be silly and get into their world to help them explore new things around them and watch their eyes light up with excitment
The most important part about being a nanny…Providing a fun and secure environment for the kids to have fun and the parents to not worry!
My experience with special needs children…At the group home we had some youth that were Autistic and many of them with emotional issues.
My favorite nanny moment…I was a nanny in college and she was 7. I got married and moved but I saw her a few months ago and she is now obviously an adult. But that was such an amazing moment to reconnect. We had too many adventures to list. We did crafts, went to the mall, made party hats on New Years Eve, painted pumpkins in October. Overall! Lots of fun!
