We are looking for a nanny share starting in Sept/ Oct 2019. We will have a 3 month old and are looking for someone with a child of a similar age. We are flexible in our hours, probably around 8am-4/5pm, M-F. We had a nanny share for our first child and have experience with nannies and shares, regarding logistics, contracts, etc.

We are new parents to a sweet little girl who will be 3 mo in September when our nanny starts. She will be working with us Mon-Thurs from about 8am to 5pm in our home. We are open to switching off locations but would prefer to host. We need our daughter to remain on a consistent feeding and eating schedule, so for the first few months, they will be mostly at home or close by (walks, neighborhood park and pool, etc.). Reading will be a staple and, as our daughter gets older, it’s important for us to expose her to the outdoors and sports. We do have two dogs, who are our first two “kids” — must be dog lovers! My husband and I both work full-time, and I work from home on Fridays.

A bit about our nanny... she originally came here through an au pair program several years ago. The family she was paired with loved her so much that they helped her come back to nanny for them for another two years. Through that program she got infant CPR certified and went through a bunch of other training specific to caring for infants and toddlers (developmental milestones, etc.) She has also worked for two preschools. We checked her references and they all have loved her! (Never late or called in sick, followed all their rules, went the extra mile, etc.)

We are hoping to raise our daughter to be bilingual, so she will be speaking Spanish some of the time, but she has experience caring for an older child in English and speaking to the baby in Spanish. (With her last family, the older son was just starting to speak (English), so it was important for her to help reinforce that with him, but the daughter was just a few months old, so she spoke Spanish with her and helped her learn to speak Spanish by the time she was talking.)
