La Jolla Village, San Diego$30/hr | 1 kid
We have an incredible nanny, a wonderful almost-three-year-old boy, and a big backyard, and we're looking for a family to join a full-time nanny share at our home in downtown La Jolla.
More about us. Our nanny is a retired kindergarten teacher with 37 years of classroom experience. Her knowledge, energy, and affection exceed anything we ever hoped to find in a nanny. Our son is a sweet, smart, gentle boy who will turn three in December. We have a great house for a nanny share: our backyard has swings, a slide, a treehouse, a big trampoline, a sandbox, and even a dedicated playhouse full of craft supplies. (We're renting; the owners designed this yard for their own daughters.) We work out of my parents' house across the street, so the nanny and kids have our house to themselves.
What we're looking for. Our top priority is finding a family with similarly minimal COVID exposure. My elderly parents live across the street, and my mother has pre-existing conditions, so we have to be really careful. We both work remotely (from my parents' house); any social interactions with friends are strictly masked and outdoors. We would also love to find a family with one child approximately the same age—say, between two and four.
Details. Our nanny currently makes $30/hour, above-board (both parties pay taxes), split 50/50 between us and the other family. Start date is flexible. Hours are 8:15–4:15.
