A little bit about us…Our family has participated in a Nanny-share for the past 3 years as the care option for our daughter. Ideally, we could continue with a child of similar age as the Nanny provides pre-k instruction appropriate for precocious 3-year-olds with late Fall birthdays (i.e. they missed the cutoff for pre-k enrollment this year). This care arrangement has exceeded our expectations and our Nanny is a remarkable person who is magical with children. She considers their emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development in everything she does. She conducts lessons with the children in English and Spanish; emphasizes good manners; and imparts confidence in social interactions. She is one of the most reliable individuals we have ever met as well as a person of very high integrity. The care schedule is Monday through Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm (some flexibility available) and pay is administered through HomePay. We pay a premium for the excellent care, instruction, and reliability.

I am a stay at home mom with one 19 week old baby boy, Casey. I am looking to take care of a second child, preferably around Casey’s age during the week. I was looking to go back to work, but my husband and I decided it would be best that I stay home for a while, as we are most comfortable with that arrangement. We have an 11 month old boy and we are looking to nanny share with another family in East Boston as soon as possible. We have found a great nanny with a lot of experience, but would just need a family to share the cost with us. Currently, a nanny helps us with care only part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, but we are potentially open to other times or full time care if that's a better fit for the other family. We are happy to host, and we both work remotely. Our preference is for the other family to also work remotely.
